Research & Development

Our state-of-the-art Research & Development Centre drives innovation through advanced engineering, product development, and process optimisation, enabling the development of next-generation precision-engineered components and manufacturing solutions.

Materials & Process Development

Our R&D initiatives focus on the development of advanced materials and manufacturing processes to meet the evolving demands of modern engineering applications. Key areas of focus include:

  • Evaluation and application of advanced materials, including alloy steels, stainless steels, aluminium, and titanium
  • Fatigue, durability, and failure analysis (Root Cause Analysis)
  • Material selection and process optimisation for enhanced performance
  • Modelling and simulation of heat treatment processes

Product Engineering & New Product Development

New components are developed based on customer drawings, specifications, or samples. Depending on the product requirements and application, components are forged using our 10T, 16T, and 25T forging Hydraulic hammers or 8,000T mechanical press, ensuring the optimum manufacturing process for every application.

Advanced & Additive Manufacturing

We leverage advanced additive manufacturing technologies to support rapid prototyping and new product development, enabling greater flexibility and faster turnaround times.

The integration of 3D scanning further enhances efficiency by accelerating the design and development process. Our in-house capabilities allow for high-speed, high-precision measurements, ensuring accuracy at every stage.

Our additive manufacturing capabilities also lay a strong foundation for expansion into high-precision sectors such as aerospace, enabling the development of a wider and more complex product portfolio.

Additionally, 3D printing plays a key role in our in-house tool room strategy, allowing critical manufacturing components to be developed internally—improving speed, control, and overall efficiency.
